I’ll be reading from Out of the Ordinary, with fellow Harbour Publishing poet Nick Thran of Fredericton NB, on Thursday, May 8 at 7 pm, at Iron Dog Books, 2671 East Hastings St., Vancouver BC.

Thran’s new collection is Existing Magic. Commenting on the book, which combines autobiographical poems with ones about music and musicians, Newfoundland-based poet Don McKay, a Griffin Poetry Prize winner, wrote: “Nick Thran’s subtle, meditative poetry combines the moves of an acute point guard with those of a thoughtful flaneur.”
