I will be participating in the University of Alberta’s 40^th anniversary celebration of their writer-in-residence program, March 3 to 5, 2016. I was writer-in-residence on campus from 1978 to 1979. The celebration, hosted by the Department of English and Film Studies, includes a writers’ cabaret March 3, an on-campus book table and panel discussions March 4, and interactions between the visiting authors and students and community members March 5. As part of the festivities, I’ll be reading with four or five of the other former writers-in-residence at Audrey’s Books, 10702 Jasper Ave. at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5.
